What is Skinfluence Plus?

Skinfluence Plus is a combination supplement containing ingredients to support, nourish and nurture the skin, hair and nails.

What does Skinfluence Plus do?

Bamboo is the richest known source of silica. Silica, vitamin E, vitamin C, Alpha Lipoic Acid and Green Tea are antioxidants which can help neutralise potentially dangerous free radicals in our environment and uv light which can attack the skin.

Free radicals damage skin by degrading collagen and elastin, proteins responsible for maintaining the structure and elasticity of skin, causing premature aging through the formation of fine lines and wrinkles.

Vitamin C is also important in collagen formation. Collagen is one of the proteins found in most connective tissues, including cartilage, bone, and skin.

Hyaluronic acid is an important component of the connective tissue that fills the spaces between cells of the skin and other tissues. It is known as nature's moisturiser because it binds up to 1000 times its own weight of water.

Take 2 capsules in the evening, one hour before bedtime.

Vitamin C increases the absorption of iron and should be avoided by people with iron overload diseases (e.g., hemochromatosis, hemosiderosis).
People with the following conditions should consult their doctor before supplementing with vitamin C: glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, iron overload (hemosiderosis or hemochromatosis), history of kidney stones, or kidney failure.
Individuals with heart disease or diabetes should consult their doctor before taking vitamin E.
Do not take products containing alpha lipoic acid in combination with diabetic medication without the approval and monitoring or a GP
Not suitable for persons with high blood pressure
This product is not suitable for persons on aspirin, warfarin or other blood thinning medications.
Green Tea is not suitable for persons sensitive to caffeine.
High intakes of caffeine may cause insomnia and anxiety
Frequent use of green tea could, in theory, promote the development of iron deficiency in susceptible individuals.

The following medications should not be taken with Green Tea:
