Apple Cider
Vinegar 150mg
What is Apple Cider Vinegar?
Cider vinegar comes
from the fermented juices of crushed apples.
It contains large quantities of acetic acid and citric acid. It also
contains vitamins B1, B2 and B6, biotin, folic acid, niacin, pantothenic
acid and vitamin C.
It is also high in pectin, a form of dietary fiber.
What Does Apple Cider Vinegar
Do?
The pectin in Apple cider
vinegar may help to maintain a healthy endocrine system by helping to
lower blood sugar levels in healthy individuals. The acetic acid in
vinegar slows starch digestion and reduces the glycemic
indexof starchy foods.
Studies suggest apple cider vinegar
may help to maintain a healthy cardiovascular system by increasing
levels of nitric oxide, a compound in the body that relaxes blood
vessels. It might also inhibit an enzyme called angiotensin-converting
enzyme from producing angiotensin II, a hormone that causes blood
vessels to constrict or narrow.
