What is Resveratrol?

Resveratrol, a compound found primarily in red wine, is a naturally occurring antioxidant. Antioxidants protect the body from the damaging effects of free radicals present in our food, body and environment.
It is also known as a phytoalexin produced naturally by several plants when under attack by pathogens such as bacteria or fungi.

What Does Resveratrol Do?

May help to support a healthy immune system via its antioxidant activities
May help to maintain a healthy cardiovascular system
May help to maintain healthy blood sugar levels
In comparison an 8-ounce glass of red wine provides approximately 640 mcg of resveratrol, while a handful of peanuts provide about 73 mcg of resveratrol. Healthspark Resveratrol provides 60mg resveratrol per capsule. Mcg (micrograms) are 1000 times smaller than mg (milligrams).

Resveratrol Powder (from Grape Skins), Anti-Caking Agents: (Di Calcium Phosphate, Microcrystalline Cellulose), Flow Agent: Silicon Dioxide, Capsule Shell: Hydroxy Propyl Methyl Cellulose.

Take 2-4 capsules daily with water after food.
Do not exceed recommended amount unless directed by a physician.
