Description

What is Hoodia?

Deep inside the African Kalahari desert, grows a cactus-like plant called the Hoodia. It thrives in extremely high temperatures, and takes years to mature. The San Bushmen of the Kalahari, one of the world's oldest and most primitive tribes, had been eating the Hoodia for thousands of years, to stave off hunger during long hunting trips.

When South African scientists were routinely testing it, they discovered the plant contained a previously unknown molecule, which has since been christened P57. Hoodia is an abundant source of P57.

Nutritional Information per 3 capsules:

Hoodia Gordonii Extract (20:1) 1500mg
providing the equivalent to 30,000mg of whole dry plant.

Ingredients:
Hoodia Gordonii South African Extract, Capsule Shell: Hydroxy Propyl Methyl Cellulose.

Take 3 capsules daily, 1 capsule (500mg) an hour before breakfast, lunch and evening meal with a full glass of water.
Do not exceed recommended amount unless directed by a physician.

I've recently tried this product, and it works fine for me. I don't feel hungry, even though I still feel like snacking. At first I had 3 capsules a day, but then I had to increase the dose, to make sure I wouldn't snack and that I wouldn't overeat anyway.

So yes, it does work if you just keep taking the pills, but the recommended dose isn't always working for everyone, I guess. (Posted on 03/07/2011)

After reading the description and reviews I was very happy to try this product as I have tried many over the years. However after trying it for the last month I have to say I'm not impressed. 3 capsules a day 1 hour before each meal which isn't always easy to plan and still feel hungry. I have not lost any weight. I purchased the 2 boxes of pills which was a waste of money in my opinion. I wouldn't recommend this product. (Posted on 21/06/2011)

I tried the healthspark hoodia diet pills last year and they helped me lose weight. They really suppress you appetite and stop you munching on them nasty snack foods. Iv been on them again this year and have started seeing the benefits again already. I dont know why the website does not make any claims about weight loss on this product. Crazy!
