What Does Acai Extreme Do?

Acai Berry

Açaí is one of nature’s richest sources of anthocyanins—a type of bioflavonoid. Anthocyanins make up the purple, red, and blue-black pigments found within certain berries, fruits, plants, and flowers. The fruit of açaí also contains protein, fiber, enzymes, vitamin E, amino acids, minerals (potassium, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, copper, manganese, zinc, and boron), phytosterols, and beneficial fatty acids.

Acai Berry may help to maintain normal metabolism and energy levels.

Green Tea Extract

All teas (green, black, and oolong) are derived from the same plant, CAMELLIA SINENSIS. The difference is in how the plucked leaves are prepared. Green tea, unlike black and oolong tea, is not fermented, so the active constituents remain unaltered in the herb.

Green tea contains a small amount of caffeine, and may help to maintain normal appetite control, fat digestion and metabolism.

Guarana Extract

Guarana is a small bean that grows predominantly in South America, especially in the Amazon jungle. The Guaraná plant contains guaranine, a substance that chemically resembles caffeine and so acts as a stimulant. Guarana contains a compound called Methylxanthine that may help to maintain healthy energy levels.

Chromium

Chromium is an essential trace mineral that helps the body maintain normal blood sugar and cholesterol levels. Chromium is a component of the so-called Glucose Tolerance Factor (GTF) complex, which together with the hormone insulin, regulates carbohydrate metabolism and glucose balance within the body.

Chromium plays an important role in the natural weight regulating mechanism of the body and also helps maintain healthy immune function.

Acetyl L-Carnitine

Acetyl L-Carnitine is involved in the metabolism of food into energy. It helps to push long-chain fatty acids, such as triglycerides into the mitochondria (a cells energy powerhouse), where they can be burnt to produce energy.

Acetyl L-Carnitine is required for the healthy function of heart and skeletal muscle, since these tissues depend in particular on fatty acid oxidation as a source of energy. Carnitine may enhance tolerance to physical exercise.

equivalent to 800mg whole berry
Guarana Seed Extract 4:1 (20% caffeine) 400mg
equivalent to 1600mg whole seed
Capsule Shell: Hydroxy Propyl Methyl Cellulose
Green Tea Leaf Extract 30:1 (50% Total Polyphenols) 80mg
equivalent to 2400mg whole leaf
Acetyl L-Carnitine 80mg
Chromium Picolinate 85mcg
providing elemental chromium 10mcg

Ingredient list:

Acai Fruit Dry Extract 4:1, Guarana Seed Dry Extract (22% caffeine), Green Tea Leaf Dry Extract (50% Total Polyphenols), Acetyl L-Carnitine, Chromium Picolinate, Anti-Caking Agent: Colloidal Anhydrous Silica, Anti-Caking Agent: Magnesium Stearate.

2-4 capsules taken daily with water and food. Best taken before 3pm.

I found the customer service brillant, they were supportive, and went out there way to help, i brought a product that wasnt right for me and i had a further 3bottles left they were happy to exchange this product to some that may help me instead. I am loving the new Acai Extreme which I am using with a colon cleanse and have lost 11lbs in less than 3 weeks.
I have no idea why Healthspark do not make HUGE claims with this product as it is really an amazing way to aid you lose weight along with diet and exercise.

Iv taken this product for 2 months now and its helped me lose 5 pounds, Iv been eating healthy food and taking these every day. They give you a good energy boost. Which helps motivate you when you don't get your normal sugar rush from the sweets and cakes. I tried the normal acai before these for 1 month and only lost 1 pound. So I would try these over the normal pure acai. (Posted on 01/04/2011)
