What Does Acai ExtremeDo?

Acai Berry

Açaí is one of natures richest sources of anthocyanins a type of bioflavonoid. Anthocyanins make up the purple, red, and blue-black pigments found within certain berries, fruits, plants, and flowers. The fruit of açaí also contains protein, fiber, enzymes, vitamin E, amino acids, minerals (potassium, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, copper, manganese, zinc, and boron), phytosterols, and beneficial fatty acids.

Acai Berry may help to maintain normal metabolism and energy production.

Green Tea Extract

All teas (green, black, and oolong) are derived from the same plant, Camellia sinensis.The difference is in how the plucked leaves are prepared. Green tea, unlike black and oolong tea, is not fermented, so the active constituents remain unaltered in the herb.

Green tea contains a small amount of caffeine, and may help to maintain normal appetite control, fat digestion and metabolism.

Guarana Extract

Guarana is a small bean that grows predominantly in South America, especially in the Amazon jungle. The Guaraná plant contains guaranine, a substance that chemically resembles caffeine and so acts as a stimulant. Guarana contains a compound called Methylxanthine that may help to improve energy levels.

Chromium

Chromium is an essential trace mineral that helps the body maintain normal blood sugar and cholesterol levels. Chromium is a component of the so-called Glucose Tolerance Factor (GTF) complex, which together with the hormone insulin, regulates carbohydrate metabolism and glucose balance within the body.

Chromium makes the action of insulin more effective, and helps the body to remove fat from the bloodstream. Chromium plays an important role in the natural weight regulating mechanism of the body and also helps maintain healthy immune function.

Chromium Polynicotinate

has greater biological activity than other forms of Chromium, including sources from picolinate.

Acetyl L-Carnitine

Acetyl L-Carnitine is involved in the metabolism of food into energy. It helps to push long-chain fatty acids, such as triglycerides into the mitochondria (a cells energy powerhouse), where they can be burnt to produce energy.

Acetyl L-Carnitine is required for the healthy function of heart and skeletal muscle, since these tissues depend in particular on fatty acid oxidation as a source of energy. Carnitine may enhance tolerance to physical exercise.
