What is Chlorella?

Chlorella is a green single-celled freshwater algae.
Chlorella is the nature’s richest whole plant source of chlorophyll, DNA and RNA. It contains more than 19 amino acids, including all the essential ones. About 60% of Chlorella is protein; about 20% consists of carbohydrates; 10% is fat, and it is rich in vitamin B12. It provides 50 times more chlorophyll than alfalfa, twice as much protein as soybeans and much more B12 than beef liver.
