What is Beta-Carotene?

Beta-carotene is the plant/vegetable form of vitamin A. The body converts beta-carotene into vitamin A and disguards any excess, unlike the animal form of vitamin A (retinol) which is stored in the body.

Dark green and orange-yellow vegetables are good sources of beta-carotene but Natures Aid Natural Beta Carotene is derived from the alga Dunaliella which is the richest vegetable source of Beta Carotene.

What Does Beta-Carotene Do?

Beta-Carotene may help to support a healthy immune system due to its antioxidant properties. Antioxidants protect body cells from attack and damage by free radicals. Free radicals are created as an unwanted by-product of metabolism, as well as by chemicals, pollution, smoking, burnt food and stress amongst other things.

Prickly heat preventer!!!! Review by YODDY

I read somewhere that this helps with prickly heat. I get this very badly on holiday. So I thought I'd give it a go. I purposely started taking it a week before my holiday and I didn't get anything for the first week! Then only a couple bumps came up towards the end!! Usually I'm covered in the first day!! Do NOT exceed the Stated Intake.
Store in a cool dry place.
NOT intended for use by persons under the age of 18.
Always consult your GP before taking Nutritional Supplements, especially if you have an existing medical condition or are taking medication.
Consult you GP if pregnant or lactating.
