    • What is Calcium?

      Calcium is an essential mineral, meaning that we cannot manufacturer it within the body yet we cannot survive without it.
      Most dietary calcium comes from dairy products. Other good sources include sardines, canned salmon, green leafy vegetables, and tofu.

      What Does Calcium Do?

      Calcium helps to maintain normal bones and teeth, normal muscle function and neurotransmission, normal blood coagulation, normal energy-yielding metabolism and normal function of digestive enzymes. Calcium also contributes to normal cell division and differentiation.
