What is Magnesium?

Magnesium is an essential mineral, meaning that we cannot manufacture it within the body yet we cannot survive without it.
Food sources of magnesium include nuts and grains. Beans, dark green vegetables, fish, and meat also contain significant amounts.

What Does Magnesium Do?

Magnesium can contribute to a reduction of tiredness and fatigue and to normal psychological functions.

Magnesium can effect electrolyte balance, normal energy-yielding metabolism, normal neurotransmission and muscle contraction including heart muscle, normal cell division, maintenance of normal bone, maintenance of normal teeth, and normal protein synthesis.
Magnesium Citrate is a highly bioavailable (easily absorbable) form of magnesium.
